Carmen (2022)

Description

Carmen (Melissa Barrera), a captivating, sensual young gypsy, leaves her family and community behind to escape a Mexican cartel. She flees to the U.S., dreaming of safety and freedom. She is captured by a fierce border patrol agent who tries to kill her. Shocked by this violence, his patrol agent partner Aidan (Paul Mescal) saves Carmen and helps her escape. He finds himself fascinated by Carmen’s passion, free spirit and will to fight for freedom.
